Packaged Lift Stations

Custom Engineered Wastewater Systems for Commercial and Industrial Applications

FabPro designs and fabricates packaged lift stations that move wastewater, sewage, and stormwater when gravity systems are not practical.
These systems are used to transfer fluids from lower elevations to higher discharge points, allowing continued flow through sewer systems, treatment facilities, or drainage infrastructure.

Each system is engineered to meet the specific requirements of the project, including:

  • Flow rates
  • Total dynamic head (TDH)
  • Solids handling requirements
  • Basin capacity
  • Site and installation constraints

FabPro lift stations are delivered as fully integrated systems, reducing field installation time and ensuring reliable operation from startup.

Custom Lift Stations Built by FabPro

FabPro lift stations are designed as complete system assemblies, combining pumps, basins, piping, and controls into a single coordinated solution.

Typical system configurations may include:

  • Duplex or triplex pump systems
  • Submersible solids-handling pumps
  • Fiberglass, HDPE, or concrete wet wells
  • Guide rail systems for pump removal
  • Discharge piping assemblies
  • Check valves and isolation valves
  • Integrated control panels
  • Pre-wired and pre-piped systems

Each system is designed to handle wastewater efficiently while maintaining reliability under continuous or intermittent operation.

What Is a Packaged Lift Station?

A packaged lift station is a complete pumping system designed to collect and move wastewater from a lower elevation to a higher discharge point.

In most systems, wastewater flows into a wet well where it is temporarily stored. Pumps activate automatically based on level controls and move the fluid through a discharge line to the next stage of the system.

Rather than assembling components in the field, FabPro integrates all required equipment into a single engineered package, improving system coordination and reducing installation risk.

Major Components of a Lift Station

A FabPro lift station includes all components required for a complete and operational system.

Wet Well (Collection Basin)
The wet well collects incoming wastewater and is sized to control pump cycling and system efficiency.

Pumps
Submersible pumps are selected based on flow rate, head conditions, and solids handling requirements. Systems are often designed with redundancy to ensure continuous operation.

Piping and Valves
Discharge piping, check valves, and isolation valves are integrated into the system to control flow and allow for maintenance.

Control Systems
Control panels manage pump operation using float switches or level sensors. Systems may include alarms and monitoring capabilities.

Access and Service Features
Guide rails, access hatches, and service-friendly layouts are included to simplify maintenance and reduce downtime.

Applications for Packaged Lift Stations

Lift stations are used in a wide range of applications where gravity flow is not possible or practical.
Common applications include:

  • Commercial buildings and campuses
  • Control valves
  • Municipal wastewater systems
  • Stormwater and drainage systems
  • Industrial process wastewater
  • Low-lying or flood-prone areas

These systems are often critical infrastructure, ensuring consistent and controlled fluid movement under varying conditions.

Designed for Real-World Installation

FabPro lift stations are built with installation and long-term operation in mind.
Systems can be delivered as factory-assembled packages, providing:

  • Reduced field labor
  • Faster installation timelines
  • Factory-tested performance
  • Simplified coordination between trades
  • Compact system layouts

This approach minimizes installation issues and ensures the system performs as intended once installed.

Choosing the Right Lift Station

Selecting the correct lift station depends on several key project factors:

  • Required flow rate and system demand
  • Total dynamic head (TDH)
  • Type of fluid and solids content
  • Basin size and storage requirements
  • Site conditions and available space
  • Maintenance and service access

FabPro works with engineers and contractors to ensure each system is designed to meet both performance and installation requirements.

Engineered for Your Application

FabPro lift stations are designed for real-world conditions, not generic specifications.
Each system is built to deliver:

  • Reliable pumping performance
  • Long equipment life
  • Efficient operation
  • Simplified installation and maintenance

Whether the application requires a compact packaged system or a large custom installation, FabPro provides a fully integrated solution.
